Registration

Any child ages 3-5 who is not currently enrolled in a MSD15 program or eligible to enroll in Kindergarten may be eligible for MSD15’s preschool program. Please contact Metropolitan Family Services, MSD15’s preschool partner, at 630-784-4802 to set up a preschool screening appointment to see if your child is eligible. If your child is accepted to the MSD15 preschool program, you will be contacted and given registration instructions for new preschool students. 

Please call our office if you have additional comments or questions. 

please note: MSD15 only offers (am) and (pm) half day Sessions. We do not offer full day pre-school at this time.

Step #1

You will need to complete a Proof of Residency Form(s) and gather the necessary supporting documents. Proof of Residency forms can be printed using the link(s) below. If you are unable to print, forms may be picked up at any school office during the school year or at the District Office. All incoming kindergarteners, 1st Grade, 3rd Grade, and 6-7th Grade must show proof of residency regardless of whether they have immediate family members already enrolled in the District.

Step #2

1. Prepare Your Documents

   • Bring all required documents listed in the packet.

   • An original birth certificate for your child is required at every registration.

    

2. Registration Hours

   • Student registration is open from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

   • If you arrive before or after these hours, we cannot guarantee your wait time.

Step #3

• Go your school’s front office to prove residency and complete the online Pre-Registration Form. You must have a valid email address to begin registration. If approved, you will receive an email with information on how to create a Parent Portal account or add your new student to your existing Parent Portal account. Once you have your Parent Portal account you may begin filling out the New Student Forms.

• Log In and click on Forms located on left-hand side

• Click on Enrollment tab at the top

• Click on the blue gear at the top right and turn on notifications. This is important in order to be notified of the approval or rejection of certain forms.

• Fill out all forms listed

Parent Portal & Communication

• You will need a valid email address to create a Parent PowerSchool Portal account.

• To receive important messages, text 'YES' 79041 to opt in.

A returning student is any student who is currently enrolled in Marquardt School District 15 (PK – 7) or is receiving services from the school district. To begin registration, log into your Parent Portal account in PowerSchool and enter your Username and Password. 

If you do not have a Parent Portal account set up or forgot your password, contact your child’s school office to obtain the access information to do so.

Helpful Notes Before You Begin

• It is a requirement for all parents of kindergarteners and 6th grade students to present proof of residency, even if they have family members registered in the District already.

• Registration does not need to be completed all at once. You may click Save for Later on any of the 5 pages and return later. Once you are confident that all information is completed, please click Submit.

• If you recently moved to a new address please update this information in your parent portal. 

• The District reserves the right to request proof of residency at any time they deem necessary.
